It has been a banner year for the Progressive International Motorcycle Show, and they will be looking to close it out with a bang as they make their final stop in Charlotte, North Carolina this weekend. Plenty of entertaining and educational activities are available to those who plan to attend show at the Charlotte Convention Center from Friday, February 22nd, to Sunday, February 24th.
Helping to make your visit to the Charlotte International Motorcycle Show a memorable one, the talented folks from XDL will be performing their wild stunts that are sure to delight the crowds on hand. Performing numerous times starting Friday at 5:30 and 7:30pm, then Saturday at 11am, 2, 4 and 6pm and Sunday at 11am, 1 and 3pm—there is just no reason for anyone to miss this great show.
For the family, IMS has planned a number of activities that will get you wondering what to go and see first! The Strider Adventure Zone will be there, offering the young ones an opportunity to hop on specially designed bikes and ride a course designed with kids in mind. The MotoGP experience will be there as well, offering motorcycle racing fans of all ages a chance to get up close and personal with the largest fleet of racing bikes ever assembles off the track. Ducati will be in attendance holding its annual fashion show on multiple occasions on Friday and Saturday, so you get a great chanced to check out the latest in motorcycling apparel.
Maybe the best part of all….who doesn’t like looking at top of the line, fresh out of the factory bikes? Harley, BMW, Honda, Yamaha, Indian and many more will be there to showcase their most recent two wheeled creations. The International Motorcycle Show will be holding many DIY and safety seminars for those in attendance who wish to learn more about their bike and how to operate it safely. Hosted by industry celebrities like Scott Russell, it’s all to help you connect with your bike and community.
A special event at the Charlotte Progressive International Motorcycle Show is the announcement of the winner of the 2013 Star Calendar Bikes of the Year! These folks have put thousands of hours of work into their custom machines and only six of the best remain in the competition. You have to be at the show to see who won, as IMS hasn’t released the date of the reveal!
