On December 8th, 2013, the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura, California, will play host to the tenth annual Chopperfest. This year’s event will be sure not to disappoint as Chopperfest looks to celebrate and pay tribute to its inspiration and all its fans and sponsors.

First off, a little background for those of you who are unfamiliar with Chopperfest and its origins. The brainchild of David “Huggie” Hansen, the event was originally held to recognize and celebrate unique and cutting edge motorcycle design. But, the whole thing really took off with the untimely passing of famed motorcycle lifestyle artist David Mann in 2004. At the ensuing and inaugural Chopperfest event which took place just three short months after his death, many from the motorcycle community lined the Chopperfest stage with Mann’s wife in a show of support for the Mann family, and to show their appreciation for the work that her husband did to enhance the lifestyle. Bike builders from all over the nation came together that day to showcase their work. Inspired by Mann; it is that huge swelling of support that catapulted Chopperfest into the popular event it is today. Chopperfest is focused on beauty in motorcycle design as well as functionality and art.

Chopperfest has evolved into a massive one day get together that draws in dozens of custom bike builders and hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts.
