All I want for Christmas...

Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorney:  With Christmas right around the corner buying the right gift for that special biker in your life can be daunting; maybe that special someone is picky or maybe you don’t have a lot of cash to spend, what ever you do don’t let those limitations get the best of you this holiday season. With some creative thinking on your part you can easily find the perfect Christmas gift or gifts for the biker in your life.
To most bikers new parts and accessories are always on the top of our must have list, so rather than buying an expensive new leather jacket if your money is tight this year, maybe some new handlebar grips or a set of chrome engine nuts to give your special bikers engine a fresh new look?
Does your biker still run a chain drive engine? If so an automatic chain oiler is a great Christmas gift, or maybe a new pair of riding gloves. Thinking outside the box might help you pick out the perfect gift this year, you don’t want to make this Christmas boring if you always buy parts and accessories for your special biker so maybe something they won’t expect like a gift card for a full bike detailing.
Chrome is always popular and just about every biker loves it, so some new chrome covers, knobs or gas tank cap will do the trick. If money isn’t an issue then you might want to consider a new cold weather riding jacket or chaps. Keeping warm is super important so make sure you know your bikers sizes before you make your purchase, cause nothing could be worse than not being able to wear them after they open their presents.
Maybe you want to go all out and get the biggest and best Christmas gift ever, so if your biker as had the same bike for a while, why not get a new paint job to make it totally fresh and new looking for coming year? You can take some picture of the motorcycle and then head off to a custom painter to secure an estimate. Then to make it even more exciting put the receipt in a giant box with some bricks to make it heavy, and wait for the surprise in that bikers eye when he opens his gift!

Are you heading to Sturgis in 2012?

You can get a great deal on a rally pass now for the Legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip 2012.  The 72nd Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is going to be a great rally and the Buffalo Chip is ‘the place’  to have as your base camp.  And don’t forget to bone up on South Dakota Motorcycle law before you go.
If the motorcyclist on your shopping list loves photography then get them the book “Living the Life”. The photos are from Doug Barber, AKA Q-Ball and the photos are accompanied by poems written by Eddie (Sorez) Pliska, aka Sorez the Scribe.  A great biker photography book!
Remember it is always the thought that goes into your Christmas gift not the price tag, so with some careful thinking and research on the Internet you can easily pick out the perfect Christmas gift for that special biker on your Christmas shopping list!
Have a great holiday season!
