Arizona’s warm, dry climate provides motorcycle enthusiasts with perfect riding weather year-round, and visitors from around the world travel to Arizona for the breath-taking scenery and numerous motorcycle festivals and events. One of the most popular motorcycle events this year in Phoenix is rapidly approaching—the Phoenix Bikefest!
The Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino will host this year’s Phoenix Bikefest, April 4-6, at its high-profile festival grounds adjacent to the I-10 Freeway in Chandler, Arizona. The Phoenix Bikefest is a free event that welcomes riders, spectators and enthusiasts to explore the world of motorcycles, clothing, gear, design and much more. The Bikefest is held every year in conjunction with Arizona Bike Week.
Musical guests for this year’s festival include Sammy Hagar and The Cult. Sammy Hagar, also known as The Red Rocker, has been recording rock hits for over four decades. He rose to prominence in the 1970s with the band Montrose, and has been associated with Van Halen and Chickenfoot, as well as having a successful solo career with his iconic hit, “I Can’t Drive 55.”
Rock fans of the 80s and 90s will be in for a treat when The Cult performs Friday night at the outdoor event venue at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino. The Cult gained mainstream popularity in the United States during the late 80s with such hits as, “Love removal Machine” and “Fire Woman.”
Motorcycle demo rides will be available to festivalgoers from motorcycle manufacturers such as, Harley-Davidson, Indian, Victory, Can-am, Yamaha, Suzuki and more.
Bikefest rides for the weekend include the 11th Annual Firefighters’ Run to benefit the East Valley Firefighter’s Charities, Ride a Bike, Save a Butt to benefit colon cancer survivors in need, and the 6th Annual Puttin’ for Pooches to benefit homeless pets, just to name a few.
Enjoy displays and merchandise from hundreds of vendors including, local Harley-Davidson dealerships, ABATE of Arizona, Assassin Cycle & Design, and Fulmer Helmets. And don’t miss the Tru Culture Fashion Show on Friday and Saturday in the Phoenix Bikefest Ride-Through Experience.
In addition to the beautiful Wild Horse Pass Hotel with its 100,000 square foot Vegas-style casino, Phoenix Bikefest has partnered with several other local hotels for discounted lodging and group rates. Make your plans to attend now.
Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys® are proud to be a sponsor of Phoenix Bikefest 2014. While at Bikefest make sure you stop by the Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys®/BAM, Free Breakdown and Legal Assistance for Motorcyclists booth to learn how you could be riding a new Harley Davidson motorcycle before the end of the season.
If you are planning on attending this year’s Phoenix Bikefest, it is important to ride carefully and make your travel plans in advance. Use extra caution when riding in groups or through heavily congested streets, and be extra careful at intersections where other motorists may not be aware of your presence. Bikefest is a wonderful time to meet fellow bikers, enjoy everything motorcycling has to offer, and tour the beautiful state of Arizona.
Be safe, have fun and see you in Phoenix!
