Russ Brown Motorcycle Lawyers:The Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run is a wonderful way to pay tribute to the many men and women who have lost their lives in the War against Terror and other overseas operations since 1979. This year, the Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run lineup will start at the Grundy County Fairgrounds in Morris, IL at 6:00am with a pancake breakfast. Riders will then ride to the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial in Marseilles, IL. In addition to the incredible motorcycle run, the event will feature amazing food, refreshments, vendors, entertainment and much, much more.
The purpose of the Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run is to honor the many fallen heroes that have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The route along the way is lined with American flags and all money raised goes towards maintaining and updating the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial. Originally erected in 2004, the Memorial was the first of its kind to recognize and honor the names of fallen soldiers while a conflict was still going on. In the years past, there have been tens of thousands of motorcyclists who have attended this important motorcycle run.
Tragedy for the Illinois Motorcycle Run
Sadly, this year Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run participants will be riding with heavy hearts. The co-founder of the Illinois Freedom Motorcycle Run and the memorial wall was killed in a motorcycle accident on May 27th. Anthony Cutrano died from injuries he sustained when he lost control of his motorcycle on an inclined curve. Tony did so much for the community and gave back to so many people; he will be truly missed.
This year, the Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys® and BAM will be at the Illinois Freedom Motorcycle Run to pay tribute to Tony and to the many men and women who have died fighting for our freedom over the last 33 years.
