“We’re a proud city. It hasn’t always been easy, but through resiliency and grit, Pittsburgh has fought back to life, becoming a blueprint for success. This renaissance has been widely recognized, earning Pittsburgh the label of ‘Most Livable City in America’ by a number of prominent publications.
Although the city has been changing at a rapid pace, motorcycles have always played an important role in our area. Many of us grew up riding in Western Pennsylvania, and that passion refuses to fade. The Steel City’s resurgence is much like restoring an old bike. With enough determination, what starts as a box of dusty parts can become something truly beautiful.
Using our diverse creative backgrounds, we established Pittsburgh Moto to document custom bikes and builders from the Greater Pittsburgh area. Our hope is to fuel the local community by using our website and independent magazine as a source that showcases our region’s motorcycle culture.
From professional builds to simple garage projects, we strive to cover as many custom choppers, trackers, cafe racers, scramblers, and bobbers that we can. This is about an appreciation of Pittsburgh, the love of motorcycles, and the individuals that put their blood, sweat, and tears into building these fascinating two-wheeled machines.”
