Los Angeles Motorcycle Injury Attorneys: Fall from Boyfriend’s Motorcycle Injures Los Angeles Woman Near Victorville
According to a recent story in the Victorville Daily Press, a female Los Angeles motorcyclist was recently injured in the Victorville area when she tumbled off the back of her boyfriend’s motorcycle on their way to the Laughlin River Run in Nevada. The motorcycle accident occurred on April 28th, 2011 on Interstate 15 not far from Stoddard Wells Road, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers who investigated the motorcycle crash.
While the unidentified Los Angeles woman was hurt when she fell, she was spared serious injuries because she was wearing a helmet and the bike was said to be traveling at a slow speed. After falling onto the roadway and into the path of the following traffic, she managed to avoid being struck by at least two oncoming vehicles. Still, her injuries were serious enough to cause her to be flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
The Los Angeles motorcyclist was fortunate enough to have avoided more serious injuries, yet many injured bikers and their passengers are not so lucky. While experienced riders and their passengers can be injured in an accident, inexperienced riders and passengers are even more likely to be injured in a motorcycle accident.
