What to Expect at Gettysburg Bike Week – Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
This year, the Gettysburg Bike Week has some amazing concerts lined up, including Mustang Sally Band, Hollywood Nights (the Bob Segar Tribute Band) and Kix. There are also poker runs, bike games, tattoo contests, fireworks, and more. If you are interested in participating in the Parade of Chrome (and let’s face it..who doesn’t), you’ll want to be there Saturday, June 14th as the line-up leaves at 5:00pm.
The historic town of Gettysburg is the perfect setting for this post 4th of July motorcycle event and over 30,000 motorcyclists are expected to participate. In addition to the festivities, motorcyclists can take a scenic ride through the battlefield or choose to take a helicopter ride over it. History buffs can tour the Gettysburg National Military Park or the American Civil War Museum and even walk in the steps of President Abraham Lincoln. You can even tour the homes and town of the citizens of 1863 Gettysburg.

Battlefield Harley-Davidson will be a hot-spot during Gettysburg Bike Week. Not only does it have all great things Harley but will host a lot of activities throughout the week. On July 14th and 15th, the Gettysburg Cook Off – North VS South will be taking place at Gateway Gettysburg, next door to Battlefield Harley-Davidson. “Q’er’s,” Smokers, Grillers, and Cooks from the North and the South will reignite the debate, to see who reigns Cook Off Champ.
